  • Will my health insurance cover Thrive Nutrition Consulting services?
    We can assist you on how to check if nutrition counseling is a covered service through your health plan. Additionally, some services may require a physician referral for insurance coverage. This varies by individual plans. To best serve you and avoid any non-coverage issues, please Get in Touch with us and select "insurance verification" to get started (this step is highly recommended before making an appointment).   • Will Medicare cover Thrive Nutrition Consulting services?
    Unfortunately at this time, we cannot accept Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare/or VA insurance. However, we offer generous discounts for healthcare providers, active duty military and family, retired military (VA status), Medicare patients (over 65+ years old), and those not covered with insurance or cash pay patients. Please see below for our cash rates (Proof of occupation/status is required.)
  • How long are appointments?
    Depending on the type of visit, most appointments take about 30 minutes to an hour. New patient appointments are typically 1.5 hours.
  • How does Healthie work?
    You get access to a Healthie account once you book an appointment or free consult. You log into Healthie using your email and a password that you create. You can schedule appointments, utilize the free telehealth feature, upload food journal entries, upload medical documents/labs, use the chat feature with your provider, and even pay online. The portal is also available as an App on your phone, although some features may not be available through the phone app.
